Starting this new adventure has been amazing thus far. People have been so generous with their compliments and encouraging thoughts to continue on my new path towards something I love to do. As I stated in the title I really do have an ‘Amyzing’ feeling of gratitude.
I am humbled by all the love people continue to show, and support for starting this up. I have talked about doing this for a very long time, but it was always just said more in a joking manner, a pipe dream, a wish. After watching so many people take their pipe dreams, and running with ideas and making a go of it, I thought to myself why not let’s give it a go. I have more time to do more for me, my boys are my life, but now they are old enough that their lives don’t need as much hand-holding, it’s more letting go. Gulp, the letting go, that’s harder than I ever thought it would be. So I needed to keep busy and start focusing on me. Bringing me to my love of baking and art. Why not make edible art. Everyone needs to eat right. I realize that it’s the beginning of a new year and almost everyone wants to lose those unwanted pounds, but I figure when it’s for a special reason, the calories won’t count. Creating yummy goodies that look good too, if you think hard enough it’s just art. Art is calorie-free right??
Since my last blog, I’ve been busy creating for many people. Lots of different cookies and cakes. Here are a few photos of the fun. Hope you like them.
I am so thankful that people were so nice to share their pictures of appreciation to me. It means a lot to see the happiness on the faces of the people I created them for. Thank you to their Moms for okaying to share their photos and allowing me to share them with you all.
Thanks for visiting my site, maybe next time it can be your happy photo to go with your ‘Amyzing’ creation.
