Here I am again, I’m waaaaaay overdue for another post. I’m so sorry for those that have been waiting. No excuses except cookie excuses.
Birthdays, get-togethers, baby showers, military, and the Fourth of July. That’s what I’ve been up to. What about you? It’s been so fun creating and having fun thinking of new designs to show on a sugar platform. My way of art expression and stress relief in a way throughout all of the COVID 19 craziness. I’m not going to lie and say I come up with all of the ideas straight out of my head, because that would be just nonsense. I do look at other ‘Cookie-ologist’ sites ( not sure if that is truly a word, or made up, so just going with it). I also love Pinterest and just the web of course. Where would we all be right now if it weren’t for the web? We are fortunate for all of the creative minds of all the computer gurus (like my husband) and their minds on how I can sit here and type and one click of the button share my thoughts with hundreds of people, maybe someday thousands, but for now, I’ll take even a handful of followers.
Right now my family and I live in Hudson, Wisconsin. A border town across from the Twin Cities area. We’ve raised our two boys here and love its quaint small-town feel, of a rapidly growing city that really isn’t a small town. Through all the madness in the last couple of months I’m truly thankful for the people we have met and the experiences that we have all had over the years. People in this area will have your back and support you when you try something new and embark on something that you are not quite sure people will jump on board with. Even though I don’t have a storefront. I am completely based out of my home through the Wisconsin and Minnesota Cottage Law, and Cookie Law. Hudson word of mouth has given me the opportunity to make cookies and cakes for people I do not know, and it has been ‘Amyzing’ to be able to do that for people. Seeing smiles, and hearing comments on things I have created is something that has blessed my heart and soul, and brought me happiness that I needed. My hope is that it also brings happiness to others as well. Thank you Hudson, for being so supportive and I hope I can continue to do so for years to come.
Please take some time and click on the Facebook Feed on the site to see all the pictures of the cookies I’ve been creating.
